Definition:
A malignant tumour characterised by the uncontrolled growth and spread of malignant cells and the invasion of tissue. This includes leukaemia, Hodgkin's disease and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma but excludes 1) non-invasive cancers in situ and 2) any skin cancer other than invasive malignant melanoma.
